Ini
merupakan salah satu lagu terbaik yang dimiliki Green Day. Hanya dengan
permainan musik menggunakan gitar saja mampu mengubah estimasi Green Day yang
hanya suka Onar karena merupakan Band dengan genre Rock.
Lagu
ini bertemakan tentang kehidupan yang jangan membuang waktu kalian dengan
percuma, besok, nanti, ntar, lusa, 5 menit lagi kita gak tau yang akan terjadi.
Aslinya Billie Joe sang vocalist dan pecipta membuat lagu ini untuk mantan
pacarnya yang telah dia sia siakan dan
pergi meniggalkannya. Namun setelah lagu nya selesai dibuat lebih cenderung
menarik tentang kehidupan. Sesuatu yang tidak terduga namu pada akhirnya itu
benar (penyesalan). Aku harap kalian punya waktu untuk hidup kalian.
Walaupun
ada kritik bahwa Green Day akan kehilangan gaya Punk nya dalam lagu ini tapi lagu
ini meraih penghargaan untuk kategori MTV Music
Video Award" sebagai "Best Alternative Video". Sebenrnya lagu
ini adalah lagu yang membuat Green Day lebih hidup pada saat itu.
